Cardinal Sinner on Prowl for Secretaries
Always be wary of the man with the funny hat. Especially if you happen to be a young lady who encounters Arizona Cardinals Head Coach Dennis Green in the workplace. Green's fetish for secretaries has marked his coaching career as much as his 2-6 playoff record.
Green has paved quite the path of sexual harassment to Arizona. In 1995, Green's "secretary" problems first surfaced with reports of a $150,000 out-of-court settlement with a former Minnesota Viking secretarial intern. A few weeks later, the Minnesota Star Tribune reported a former Green aide at Stanford, named the Cardinal coach as a sexual harasser. She reached an out-of-court settlement with the school.
After divorcing his first wife, this Cat in the Hat went on to marry a former flight attendant from the Vikings charter flights. The lucky gal promptly became his media consultant.
In 1996, Green paid off a woman with whom he'd had a relationship to have an abortion. The woman claimed in a lawsuit that Denny convinced her to have the abortion because he thought a baby would be injurious to his career.
