Debate? What Debate?

New England Patriot fan and decorated war hero John Kerry works on his debate prep last night watching the Redskins Cowboys Monday night match up. Kerry left during the 4th quarter after ABC broadcast a Windsurfers for Truth ad. Kerry has been the subject of a vicious smear campaign since August and denied any involvement with the Democratic counter group Pleasure Boat Captains for Truth. This 527 group has been formed to counter the deliberate misrepresentation of George W. Bush's drinking record.

Meet the Buffaloed Image

Let there be no debate on when it comes to famous Buffalo Bills fans. At the top of the steamy heap is none other than NBC's Meet the Press moderator and lead windbag Tim Russert. The arrogant self-important Russert loves to portray himself with the regular guy persona. Take a peek at his best-selling book Big Russ and Me. Russert tells us he is paying homage to his folksy dad and his homespun common sense, but the book is really just an effort to solidify Russert's image as South Buffalo Tim. You will not see any mention of the Nantucket Tim or Inside the Beltway Tim. Regular guy Tim is so concerned with building up the Russert brand that he is willing to use Big Russ as a prop.
