Champions on Parade

Boston Mayor Thomas Menino unveiled the plans for Red Sox Championship Parade Saturday Morning starting at 10:00 am. This is not your ordinary parade. It rolls. Jennifer Peter of the AP has the details on the 'rolling parade'.

The city will toast its first World Series champions in 86 years with a parade Saturday that will stretch from the Fenway to City Hall Plaza, but won't include the traditional rally at its end because of concerns about the size of the crowd and security.

Peppi's on the North Side has the "Roethlisburger," a "straight from the farm" concoction of beef, sausage, scrambled eggs and American cheese. The price for No. 7's namesake sub? $7, of course.

"And it goes great with Heinz," owner Jeff Trebac said.

If breakfast on a bun isn't your thing, there's the "Ben Roethlis-burger" at Brentwood Express on Route 51. The $3.95 burger comes with bacon, barbecue sauce, ranch dressing and Cheddar and provolone cheeses.
